Take The Plunge

Maybe this cold winter hasn't chilled you enough. If that's the case, read on about a rather cool event coming up in February.

17th Annual Polar Plunge

The 17th Annual Polar Plunge is returning to Maple Grove on February 1st! This is a spectacular event that raises money for Special Olympic Minnesota Athletes. Participants in The Polar Plunge take a dip into the frozen-over Fish Lake; plus they are asked to raise a minimum of $75. The event is sponsored by Minnesota Law Enforcement for Special Olympics; and many businesses and organizations to support the Special Olympics by donating to this event. Don’t want to jump into the freezing water? There are volunteer opportunities as well to get involved. So what are you waiting for? Sign up and take the plunge for our athletes today!
