Warning: Reading This May Cause You to Smile and Say "Awww!"

Back on December 12th a beautiful baby girl was born to Eagle Ridge residents Jennifer and Sergey. They recently sent us a wonderful photo of their adorable baby girl! Anastasia was born with lots of hair and weighed in at 7lbs, 15oz; and she was pretty long, 21 inches.

According to her parents, who have been kept pretty busy with their newborn babe, Anastasia loves to talk and mimic voices and play with her favorite stuffed animal, a teddy bear. She also likes to look at different shapes and objects. She has a Tummy Time blanket, which is black and white striped to strengthen her eyes. After all of that hard play, she likes to be sang to and rocked to sleep.

Please join us in congratulating Jennifer and Sergey, and help us welcome Anastasia to the Eagle Ridge community!

Thank you to her parents for sending this great photo:

Snow Rhymes With Tow - Please Move Your Vehicles Tomorrow!

Winter can be a difficult season to deal with, especially with all the snow we've been getting. We recently sent out a letter to all of our valued residents, letting them know that we'll be doing a thorough plowing of our parking lots tomorrow. You can help us out a great deal by making sure your vehicle is moved so we can make a clean pass. If you misplaced the notice, we'll post it below for you.

Plowing Notice

On Wednesday, January 29th, we will be plowing the entire parking lot. It is imperative that all vehicles are removed so that we can complete the plow in one day. All Vehicles must be out of the parking lot at 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

You may park on Magda Drive or 69th Avenue N. The Maple Grove Police department requires you move your car from the street by 5:00pm. If you are going to be out of town or otherwise unavailable to move your vehicle on that day, please call the office as soon as possible to make other arrangements.

Any vehicle left in the parking lot after 10:00 a.m. will be towed at the resident’s expense.

We would never intentionally inconvenience any resident by towing a vehicle without every attempt to contact the owner first. However, it is impossible to complete the plowing without the lot being completely vacant and we may not be able to call you on that day.

Reminder: All vehicles must be moved on a regular basis for necessary snow removal and inform the office of all current and updated vehicle information if you have not done so already.

If you have any questions, please contact the Rental Office. Thank you for your cooperation.

Tips for Staying Warm

With wind chills currently at 28 degrees below zero, it’s dangerously cold outside. If you have to head outside keep warm by dressing appropriately and avoid being outside for more than a few minutes. It's a good idea to keep a blanket and extra clothes in your car as well.

Here are a few simple tips to keep you just a little warmer!

Eat Well!

Eating regular meals particular those that have good carbohydrates can help you stay warmer throughout your day. Hearty soups are a great, quick option sure to warm you up!

Get Moving!

Staying active is a must when it’s this cold! Going to the gym may be the last thing you want to do but there are some great ways to exercise from home. Throw in a workout video or download a fitness app on your phone and get that blood pumping!

Cut the Caffeine!

I hate to say it but the caffeine in coffee and black tea increases blood flow to the skin which actually causes your body lose heat! Try sticking to decaf coffee or herbal teas to keep your body warm!

Keep it Airtight!

Be sure to follow the Winter Notice instructions that we recently delivered to each apartment. Doing so will help keep your apartment warm. If you've misplaced the notice we sent out, here it is again:

Due to the extremely cold weather, we want to remind you not to open windows or patio doors at this time of year. The cold air sinks to the level of the heat pipes causing them to freeze and ultimately burst. You may be held responsible for any damages to your or your neighbor’s apartment should this occur. If the temperature in your home is uncomfortable, contact the office immediately and we will issue a maintenance order to repair and adjust your heating system. Please follow these heat tips as the rest of the winter season progresses. We appreciate your cooperation.

Kelsey Celebrates One Year Anniversary at Eagle Ridge

This January Kelsey will be celebrating a big day - she has been working in the leasing office at Eagle Ridge Apartments for one year now! We can't believe how fast it went. Kelsey says that her favorite part of working at Eagle Ridge is interacting with all of our awesome residents.

She says, "I love visiting with the residents. Their days are just as important as ours, and if we can make just a small impact each and every day, then at the end of the day that is all that matters. This is our job to make sure they are comfortable (including new and prospective residents as well) and to let them know how important they are to Eagle Ridge and this community."

We are thankful to have Kelsey as a part of our team here at Eagle Ridge. If you see her around be sure to congratulate her on her one year anniversary!

Happy Anniversary, Kelsey!

Rub-A-Dub-Dub! Give Your Car A Bath!

Is your vehicle covered in several layers of salt and sand? Winter brings with it some hazardous driving conditions and the road treatments of salt and sand can quickly build up on your car. Fear not! At Eagle Ridge Apartments we have a car wash bay in every building so you can give your vehicle a quick rinse.

If you want to do a more thorough cleaning, our residents can use the car wash bay in the 7050 building which has a more extensive do-it-yourself car wash bay with suds, scrubber, and wax! The additional settings take quarters and costs 75 cents per session, so bring some change along if you want to use those settings. The 7050 building also has a powerful vacuum for cleaning out the interior of your vehicle (requires a quarter). If you don't live in the 7050 building, simply stop by the office to pick up a temporary garage remote which will let you access the car wash bay in the garage.

So go ahead and make your car happy and shiny! We help you cope with seasonal salt and sand by providing this great amenity!
