National Boss Day: Thank You Ginny!

Today is National Boss Day, and so we are honoring our Community Manager Ginny!

Ginny is the community manager at Eagle Ridge Apartments

Ginny has been with Condor Corporation since June 2006, starting as the Community Manager at Eagle Ridge.  She is passionate about serving people, and is happy to do so.  Ginny has been in the apartment industry since 1987, starting as a caretaker and working her way up to management.  She has also worked in a hospital and nursing home, managed twelve Pro-Shops for Northwest Racquet and Swim Clubs, and worked in real estate. In her free time Ginny enjoys going to movies, challenging residents in ping-pong, boating on Lake Minnetonka, cooking and baking yummy treats (and sharing and eating them), and volunteering at her church in the cafeteria. She is also a proud mom to a now 21 year-old daughter. Happy Boss Day Ginny!

Resident Highlight: Joe, his daughter Taylor, and Turtle

One of our newer residents, Joe, stopped by the Rental Office with his daughter Taylor, and Turtle, their pet turtle. While Joe likes turtles, 11 year old Taylor told him about a year ago to get one. The turtle's name is "Turtle"!

Turtle is a red ear slider turtle, which is popular because it does very well in captivity, is relatively easy to take care of when compared to some other exotic pets, and has a clownish, playful demeanor uncommon among reptiles. And, with our pet policy that allows only birds, fish, and small caged animals, it is a pet that is welcome at Eagle Ridge!

Fall Colors in Full Swing at Eagle Ridge!

After a week of stunningly beautiful and record-breaking warm weather, the fall colors seem to have peaked at Eagle Ridge. Were you able to get outside to enjoy them last week, or maybe this weekend?

Celebrate National Children's Day!

Today, October 8, is National Children’s Day! This day was proclaimed by Former President Bill Clinton in the year 2000.  Today is a day to celebrate the children in our lives whether it be a niece, nephew, grandchild, our own children or a special child in your life.  The children of today will lead us into the future and it is our responsibility to ensure they have a good foundation to be successful in their adult life.

An excerpt from former President Bill Clinton’s Proclamation of National Children’s Day:

 "I urge all Americans to express their love and appreciation for children on this day and every day throughout the year, and to work within their communities to nurture, love, and teach all our children.

Let us show our love for them not only through our words, but also by making the tough decisions and important investments necessary to give them the opportunity to achieve their dreams.”

Let’s take the time this day to show the children how special they are to us!  Here are just a few of the wonderful children we appreciate here at Eagle Ridge Apartments.

Happy 90th Birthday, Olive!

 Recently one of our valued residents celebrated her 90th birthday! Olive has lived at Eagle Ridge since 1995 and celebrated her birthday on October 1 with 10 of her family members at the Northland Inn.
